Down The Shore




So since we are Pennsylvanians now, we have to speak like Pennsylvanians. We didn't go to the beach for the past few days, we headed down the shore. Whatever we did, it was fun. We went to Ocean City, NJ - a great beach town with a fun boardwalk and lots to do.

Jayden enjoyed his first time playing in the sand and the water. Ethan and Ella had a blast and Luke was all over the place so we couldn't actually get him in any of the pictures.

Battleship New Jersey



So Jim's pick for Father's Day was to visit the Battleship New Jersey. It was very interesting. Well, besides bringing a 2-year-old and a 7-month-old through some very small spaces, which was interesting in itself. It is the longest battleship the US has ever built and the tour was more than 2 hours long. I would definitely recommend it, but definitely without kids.

2nd Stop: Ocean City, NJ





We headed to our friend's family beach house yesterday and hung out at the beach and boardwalk for a few hours before eating dinner and heading home. It was a bit chilly for the water (although that didn't stop Ethan and Ella), but the boardwalk was full and the carnival rides were fun.

Jayden mostly enjoyed his first trip to the beach, although he slept a lot of the time and lost his blankie on the boardwalk.

Right At Home

Ethan has made himself right at home at our apartment in New Jersey. He loves the pool and swimming and has figured out how to get into the pantry when it isn't fully closed.
